  3. Our third grade team using www.planbookedu.com.
It has a small free trial. It does cost $25.00 a year. You can set up to 5 planbooks account. It is linked to CCSS and will tell you which strands you have covered and how many times you have covered the strand. There is a collaborate and share button where you can copy and paste with others or build a planbook with members. You can print plans off daily, weekly, or as a whole.

This is a website that I use for my Kindergartners, but it can be used through 5th grade. You choose a grade and then the students can do an activity that is math or literacy related. You do have to be careful though because there are a few games that the students love to play. I use that as an incentive. They have 25 minutes of math and literacy work and 5 minutes of game free play.

  26. Is anybody using Confer, or another app to record anecdotal records, DRA, and student conferencing notes? I have heard good things about Confer , but would like to talk to someone before I buy.

    1. I've used confer, but it is limited in what you can record. I've used evernote and created my own template with Kustomnote. Much better because I get to decide what I what to record.

  31. I use Remind101 to remind my students and participating parents about test dates, homework assignments, project due dates, etc. It is really neat! Once you join, you can send short text messages to student and parent phones. You never get access to student or parent cell phone numbers and they don't have access to your cell phone number. Go to www.remind101.com and join now!
