  1. "Lets Use Video to Reinvent Education"; I absolutely love this techniques/idea. Seeing that we live in a technologically advance society and our kids are so tech savy, this tool would probably peak the interest of many students who do not care to be in class listening to the teacher talk her head off. As interesting as this sounds and looks, it will require students to display a strong sense of responsibility to complete required listening /watching task and practice leading up to the interactive lesson in class.

  2. I had such an aha moment this past week when I used a You-Tube video as a review for a semester test. The parts of the atom has been taught 6th through 8th grade, and although they seemed to have remembered it at the time, when test review came up I was faced with the "look" that all teachers dread. I found this video that was a segment from the old sitcom "WKRP in Cincinnati" where Venus is explaining the atom to a drop out thug who didn't want to go back to school. My students watched it without a single sound! One student looked at me, and said "If you would have taught it like that I would have remembered it." I am sold on using videos in the class!! I can't wait to use more mini videos in my lessons.
